GoHighLevel Salesforce integration: no native link, so here is the Zapier route

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-03

Quick answerThere is no native GoHighLevel Salesforce integration. The working route is Zapier, using the LeadConnector app with Salesforce. It passes single events one way, not a full two-way sync.

No native Salesforce connection: Zapier is the working route

GoHighLevel does not have a native Salesforce integration. The integrations area of the HighLevel help center has folders for Google, Stripe, Facebook, Zapier, QuickBooks, Shopify, TikTok and Jobber, and none for Salesforce. The only official Salesforce document found there is a migration guide for leaving Salesforce by CSV export.

The route that works today is Zapier, which has a page for pairing its LeadConnector app (HighLevel's white-label name) with Salesforce. Custom code against the HighLevel API is the other option.

What Zapier can trigger and create between the two

Zapier steps listed for LeadConnector and Salesforce, read on 3 October 2026
DirectionTrigger (starts the Zap)Actions available
Salesforce to HighLevelNew Lead, New Contact, New Record, Updated Record, Updated Field on RecordAdd/Update Contact, Add/Update Opportunity, Add Lead to Workflow, Stop All Workflows for Lead, Add Task
HighLevel to SalesforcePipeline Stage Changed (the only LeadConnector trigger)Create Lead, Create Contact, Update Lead, Update Record, Find or Create Record, Add Lead to Campaign, Convert Lead to Contact

The practical result: Salesforce to HighLevel is well covered. A new Salesforce lead can become a HighLevel contact and enter a follow-up workflow. HighLevel to Salesforce is narrow, because the app only fires when an opportunity changes pipeline stage. A new HighLevel contact or a form submission does not start a Zap by itself.

To send other HighLevel events out, build a workflow that ends in a webhook step pointed at an external URL. HighLevel lists custom and inbound webhooks as premium workflow steps: 100 free lifetime executions per sub-account, then $0.01 each.

Setup steps in order

  1. Confirm you have a paid HighLevel account. Zapier's help page says a paid LeadConnector account is required.
  2. In Zapier, add a LeadConnector connection and sign in with your HighLevel login. No API key is needed.
  3. Pick the sub-account. Each connection is tied to one sub-account.
  4. Add a Salesforce connection and authorize it.
  5. Choose the trigger and action from the table above and map the fields: name, email, phone and any custom fields.
  6. Run a test record in each direction before turning the Zap on.

Limits to plan around

  • One event, one direction. Each Zap copies a single event one way. Two-way behavior needs two Zaps, and you must stop them from re-triggering each other.
  • No search steps. Zapier lists no search actions for LeadConnector, so a Zap cannot look up a HighLevel contact first. Add/Update Contact is the only matching tool.
  • One sub-account per connection. Several locations mean several connections.
  • Rate limits. Zapier's help page quotes 100 requests per 10 seconds and 200,000 per day.
  • No history. A Zap handles new events. Existing records need an import.
  • Extra subscription. Zapier is billed separately from both products.

Moving off Salesforce instead: the official CSV migration

If the real aim is to replace Salesforce, HighLevel's migration guide describes a one-off move, not an integration. Export contacts, accounts, leads and opportunities from Salesforce as CSV or Excel files. Import them into HighLevel with field mapping. Rebuild pipelines, automations, forms and document templates by hand. The guide then advises testing, training the team and running both systems in parallel before canceling Salesforce.

Who should connect them and who should pick one system

The Zapier route suits a team that keeps Salesforce as its main record and uses HighLevel for texting, missed-call replies and booking on new leads. Push each new Salesforce lead into a HighLevel workflow and report the stage change back.

It does not suit a team that needs accounts, contacts and opportunities kept identical in both systems. Zapier does not give that. Those teams should choose one CRM. The GoHighLevel vs Salesforce comparison sets out which fits, and the integrations overview shows which tools do have a built-in connection.
