GoHighLevel integrations: native connections, marketplace apps, Zapier and the API

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-03

Quick answerGoHighLevel connects four ways: built-in integrations in Settings, App Marketplace apps, connectors (Zapier and Make) and its API and webhooks. Salesforce has no built-in route.

The four ways GoHighLevel connects to other software

GoHighLevel integrations come in four kinds: connections built into the product under Settings then Integrations, apps installed from the App Marketplace, connector platforms such as Zapier and Make, and the HighLevel API with webhooks for custom work. The route depends on the tool. QuickBooks Online, Xero, Shopify and Zoom are built in. WordPress uses HighLevel's own plugin. WhatsApp is a paid add-on. Salesforce has no built-in connection and runs through Zapier.

The help center's integrations area also has folders for Google, Stripe, Facebook, TikTok and Jobber. This page covers how each route works and what it costs, as read on 3 October 2026.

Which route each common tool uses

Connection route for seven tools, per official pages read on 3 October 2026
ToolRouteWhat moves
WordPressOfficial LeadConnector pluginChat widget, forms, calendars, funnel pages, custom values
QuickBooks OnlineBuilt inCustomers, invoices and sales receipts, two-way
XeroBuilt inInvoices to Xero, contacts from Xero
ShopifyBuilt inCustomers, orders, products, abandoned checkouts
ZoomBuilt in (calendars)A unique meeting link for each booking
WhatsAppPaid add-on, $10 per month per sub-accountTwo-way messages, templates, workflows
SalesforceZapier onlySingle events, one direction per Zap

Each has its own page: the WordPress plugin, QuickBooks Online sync, Xero invoice sync, the Shopify store connection, Zoom links for calendar bookings, the WhatsApp add-on and its price and the Salesforce route through Zapier.

Zapier and Make: what the connectors can actually do

On Zapier the app is called LeadConnector, HighLevel's white-label name. Zapier's help page says a paid LeadConnector account is needed. You sign in with your HighLevel login, with no API key, and pick one sub-account. Each connection covers one sub-account, so a second location needs a second connection.

The app is narrower than many buyers expect. Zapier lists one trigger, Pipeline Stage Changed, and five actions: Add/Update Contact, Add/Update Opportunity, Add Lead to Workflow, Stop All Workflows for Lead and Add Task. It has no search steps. That is enough to push leads from another tool into HighLevel and start a workflow. It is thin for sending HighLevel events out.

Make lists the app as GoHighLevel with 22 modules: 2 triggers, 17 actions and 3 searches, including creating contacts, tasks and opportunities.

Marketplace apps, premium workflow steps and webhooks

The App Marketplace sits in the left menu. An agency owner or admin clicks Install, reviews the permissions, chooses Allow and Install and completes the provider's own sign-in. Paid apps add a plan choice before payment, and a failed payment starts a 30-day grace period. Apps are either agency only or installable on chosen sub-accounts. The help article says the agency-level marketplace is limited to the Freelancer and Agency Pro plans. Freelancer is not a plan name on the pricing page read today.

Some workflow steps are billed as premium: inbound webhooks, custom webhooks, Google Sheets actions, Slack actions and marketplace app steps. Each eligible sub-account gets 100 free lifetime executions. After that the standard rate is $0.01 per execution, charged to the agency wallet unless rebilled. The feature is switched on in agency Settings under Company settings.

The API route for anything not covered

Custom integrations use API 2.0 with OAuth 2.0 or a Private Integration Token. The published limits are 100 requests per 10 seconds and 200,000 requests per day per app per location. The support article puts Basic API access on Starter and Unlimited and Advanced API access on Agency Pro, while the pricing page first lists Basic API access under Unlimited. The GoHighLevel API page covers authentication, limits and that plan conflict in detail.

Plan and cost checks before you rely on an integration

Plans as read on 3 October 2026 are Starter at $97 per month, Unlimited at $297 and Agency Pro at $497. The Zoom article says its integration is available on all plan tiers. The QuickBooks, Xero and Shopify articles do not name a plan. Budget separately for the WhatsApp add-on, premium workflow executions and any Zapier or Make subscription. The full HighLevel cost breakdown lists the other usage charges.

GoHighLevel suits a business that wants leads, messaging and booking in one place with accounting and store data fed in. A business whose records must stay in Salesforce should treat HighLevel as a side tool or not add it at all.
