Zoom connects natively to GoHighLevel calendars
GoHighLevel has a built-in Zoom integration, and its help article says it is available on all plan tiers. Each user connects their own Zoom account. When a calendar's meeting location is set to Zoom, every new booking gets a unique Zoom meeting link created automatically. A free Zoom account works. Paid Zoom plans add Zoom's own extended features.
The integration is about scheduling. It creates meeting links for appointments. The articles read do not describe Zoom webinars, recordings or attendance data coming back into the CRM.
Setup steps: two routes to connect a Zoom account
HighLevel documents two paths that end in the same connection.
- Open Settings, then My Profile, then Calendar, then Video Conferencing. Or open Settings, then Calendar Settings, then Connections, then Video Conferencing.
- Click Add New, choose Zoom and click Connect.
- Sign in to Zoom and approve access.
- Open the calendar and set its meeting location to Zoom.
- Check that the confirmation and reminder templates contain the {{appointment.location}} merge field. That field carries the link into emails and texts.
- Book a test appointment and open the link from the confirmation message.
An admin can connect Zoom for a colleague by using the login-as-user feature. Connections attach to the HighLevel user ID, not to an email address. The guide to using GoHighLevel covers calendar setup in general.
Which calendar types get automatic Zoom links
The newer of the two help articles, updated on 10 February 2026, lists Personal, Round Robin, Service and Collective calendars. An older article, updated on 1 February 2026, lists only Personal, Round Robin and Collective. A calendar with no assigned user does not get dynamic links. For that case HighLevel says to paste a static Zoom link as the location.
On a round robin calendar the link is created in the Zoom account of whichever team member receives the booking, so every member on the calendar needs their own connection.
How links behave when appointments change
| Event | What happens to the link |
|---|---|
| Appointment edited, same time | The existing link is kept |
| Appointment rescheduled | A new link is created, unless another meeting already uses that slot |
| Appointment deleted | The link is dropped permanently |
| Several meetings in one time slot | They reuse the same link |
| Zoom disconnects, then reconnects | Missing links for upcoming appointments are generated automatically |
The rescheduling row matters most. A customer who keeps an old confirmation email may hold a link that no longer matches, so make sure a reschedule sends a fresh notification.
Documented limits
- One Zoom account per user profile.
- One active video platform at a time. More than one can be connected, but only one is active per user or calendar.
- 100 requests per day. The older article gives a daily cap, counted in UTC, on creating, updating and deleting meetings.
- No import of existing Zoom meetings. Meetings created directly in Zoom do not appear in the HighLevel calendar.
- Shared time slots share a link. This matters for class-style bookings.
Who it suits and when a static link is enough
The integration suits consultants, sales teams and clinics offering video appointments that customers book themselves, especially with several staff on a round robin calendar. Combined with reminder workflows it removes the manual step of creating and sending links. The GoHighLevel features page shows where calendars sit among the other tools.
A solo operator who is happy with one permanent personal meeting room can skip the connection and paste that link as a custom location. A business that runs webinars with registration should not expect this integration to handle them. Check Zoom's own tools or a connector first. The integrations overview explains the Zapier and Make routes.
