GoHighLevel vs Keap: the short answer
Keap starts at $299 a month and GoHighLevel (also written HighLevel) Starter is $97 a month, both billed monthly, as read on 4 October 2026. GoHighLevel has unlimited users, where Keap includes 2 user licenses. Keap's price also comes with implementation services its page calls required and a first tier of texts, while GoHighLevel bills texts and calls by use on top of the plan.
Keap's annual price was not read, so both plan prices here are on monthly billing. GoHighLevel's pricing page says its 14-day trial gives full access to the chosen plan; its product pages say a card is required and charged when the trial ends unless you cancel.

What Keap's price includes and requires
Keap sells one platform at one starting price rather than feature plans. The page says the price starts you off with 2 user licenses, and additional users are a further purchase. It also says implementation services are required: a business mapping session with an automation expert, done-for-you automations, automation templates, data import and migration services.
Text marketing tier 1, which is 500 messages and 100 voice minutes, is included in the subscription. Higher text tiers run from $24 to $279 a month, and usage over a tier's allotment is charged at $0.015 a text and $0.01 a voice minute. Text marketing is available in the U.S. only.
Canceling an annual Keap contract before the one-year term ends carries an early termination fee, and Keap says to start a cancellation at least 10 days before the next invoice date by calling customer support. The free trial needs no card, but it caps sending at 25 emails and cannot process payments or send or receive texts.
What GoHighLevel's flat plan leaves to usage
GoHighLevel Starter lists unlimited contacts and users and all core features for $97 a month, billed monthly; the vendor's fair use policy covers anything marketed as unlimited. Texts, calls and email are not in that price. HighLevel's help center says usage is drawn from a prepaid Agency Wallet, the balance that pays for usage-based services, which refills from the card on file.
The Phone System, which carries Missed Call Text Back, an automatic text to a missed caller, is on every plan level, and Starter's core features include booking calendars. GoHighLevel pricing covers the usage side.
All fees are non-refundable under HighLevel's Terms. The GoHighLevel free trial page covers what a trial account cannot do and what bills when it ends.
Which small business should pick which
Pick GoHighLevel for a team that shares calls and texts: Starter allows unlimited users at $97 a month, billed monthly. Pick Keap for an owner who wants a serviced setup. A solo real estate agent who would rather have an expert build the follow-up gets done-for-you automations through Keap's required implementation services.
A business that wants a trial without a card should start with Keap, since GoHighLevel's trial asks for one. HighLevel's help center has a Keap migration guide covering contacts, custom fields, automations and landing pages, though the article dates from October 2024. For a third option, Keap vs HubSpot adds HubSpot's free tools to the comparison.
